Our Mission
We are renowned for our excellent academic research, teaching, and engagement with practice in the area of digital transformation of industrial B2B ecosystems. Our contribution to economy and society is to enable the digital transformation of sales, service, and business models of industrial organizations. The people we educate create and lead corresponding organizational change.
Against this background, we are focusing on four main topics, including:
- the digital transformation of B2B sales, for example by using predictive analytics systems in sales processes, i.e. computer-aided tools that analyse data to predict future trends.
- the strategic realignment of companies in the mechanical engineeringsector towards a stronger focus on services and solutions, such as smart services and performance-based contracting.
- the development of models and methods for innovating business models that help companies to develop, prototype and test new value propositions for customers.
- the responsible use of digital technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI).
